VUI is an AI-powered eCommerce search solution that accurately finds the products customers want, increasing sales and customer retention.
At VUI, I'm working on designing and developing the UX and UI of chatbots and search engines for large enterprises and Fortune 100 companies.
I'm also in charge of the interface design and development of the VUI search platform, a SaaS that enables customers to manage and improve their e-commerce search.

CONVERSATIONAL
DESIGN
As a UX Designer at VUI, I had the privilege of participating in a transformative project for and in collaboration with Lowe's, a Fortune 100 company.
The project focused on developing a new, cutting-edge chatbot to replace their previous conversational agent.
My role involved creating the initial version of several conversational flows for the chatbot.
As a Front-End Developer, I also led the efforts to develop the first iteration of the chatbot interface.

SEARCH
COMPONENTS
As a Front-End Developer at VUI, I led the development of search components using vanilla Javascript and React.
These components were designed to seamlessly integrate with our customers' e-commerce platforms, primarily Shopify.
They allowed real-time backend API calls for accurate search results, leveraging the proprietary NLP technology developed by VUI.
Beyond their primary function, these search components also became a powerful sales tool, allowing us to showcase the value of VUI to potential customers in the e-commerce landscape.

DASHBOARD
One of the latest projects I worked on at VUI was the design of the Search Admin Dashboard.
The primary purpose of the Search Admin Dashboard is to allow our customers to self-manage our search services.
I started interviewing some of our key internal stakeholders to understand the current state of our search services and their pain points. Then, I performed a brief market research to understand what our competitors were doing.
With these insights, I started defining the features and functionalities, prioritizing them based on our user needs and business goals. This developed a clear vision for the Search Admin Dashboard's future development.
I then started creating mockups and prototypes, conducting iterative design reviews with internal stakeholders.
