I worked on a project for Lowe's, a Fortune 100 company, building a new chatbot to replace their previous conversational agent. I designed the first version of several conversation flows.
On the engineering side, I led the first iteration of the chatbot interface itself.

I led development of the search components in vanilla JavaScript and React, built to drop into customers' e-commerce sites, mostly Shopify. They call the backend in real time and return results powered by VUI's own NLP.
The components doubled as a sales tool, giving prospects a live way to see what VUI could do on their own catalog.
These screenshots are simplified mockups built for this portfolio. The real interfaces cannot be disclosed since they are under NDA.

One of my last projects at VUI was the Search Admin Dashboard, the place customers self-manage their search services. I started by interviewing internal stakeholders to map the current state and its pain points, then ran quick market research on the competition.
From there I defined and prioritized features against user needs and business goals, then moved into mockups and prototypes with iterative design reviews.
