Tech Lead
& Product Engineer
I'm a product engineer and tech lead, with 15+ years of experience. I've spent most of that building products end to end and leading the teams that build them, usually somewhere between the design and the engineering.
For almost eight years, I worked at Responsa, a company specializing in self-service customer care solutions located within the H-Farm Campus, now part of Gruppo Euris. During this period, I actively contributed to Responsa's growth: first as full-stack, then spent a few months as interim CTO, then ran the whole interface and part of the product. By the time I left, it was handling tens of thousands of people a week, making it one of Europe's leading enterprise solutions for self-care in customer service.
After that I moved to VUI, an AI-powered e-commerce search product used by large retailers, including Fortune 100 names like Lowe's. I designed and built the UX for its chatbots and search, and owned the interface of the platform customers used to tune their own search. Now I'm with Business Fundamentals, a Dutch company, working on knowledge management and applied AI: retrieval, agents, and RAG systems that let an organization ask questions of its own documents. I still work with them remotely, from Italy.
Business Fundamentals
At Business Fundamentals, I contribute to the development and modernization of Connexio, the company's knowledge management platform used by organizations including the Koninklijke Marechaussee, KNRM, and the Nederlandse Kustwacht. My work spans front-end architecture, development workflows, and applied AI. I led the modernization of the front-end, introduced unit and end-to-end testing practices, and architected the CI/CD infrastructure together with automated code-quality tooling, significantly reducing deployment times and manual errors. I also architected and led a pilot AI-powered knowledge system based on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), designing the document ingestion, chunking, NLP enrichment, retrieval, and LLM orchestration layers, with a focus on source-grounded answer generation using Llama, multilingual embeddings, and spaCy-based processing.
VUI, Inc.
Led design and development of conversational-commerce and search experiences deployed by Fortune 100 companies. Designed and built the architecture and interface of the VUI search platform (a SaaS letting customers manage and improve their e-commerce search), and ran competitive analysis to sharpen differentiation.

Directed the redesign of the in-page module, built the floating widget, took the conversational chatbot from concept to production, and transformed the admin dashboard into a modern SPA with a full design system.
